A New Station in Bayburt’s Cultural Life

A new station has joined Bayburt’s cultural and artistic life. SOCAR President of Turkey Kenan Yavuz, has opened its doors to the mansion in Beşpınar cultural events. At Kenan Yavuz Mansion and Culture House, the amphitheater, the construction of which was completed as a result of the work that lasted throughout the summer, will host a film festival and various cultural events this summer. The events that will start on Monday, July 13, 2015 will continue until July 24.
The event, which will host open-air movie shows, a row night, lovers night, special Azerbaijan night and various concerts, is organized by the Bayburt Science Education and Culture Association. Giving information about the events that will be held for the first time this year, BEKDER President Mete Emir, in Baksı, one of the border villages of Bayburt, Prof. Dr. He said that it is a source of happiness that Beşpınar, another border village, will accompany the giant cultural project, which came to life with the extraordinary effort of Hüsamettin Koçan. Emir said the following about the events: “Kenan Yavuz Mansion and Culture House, which is a result of the goal of Mr. Kenan Yavuz, who is the Chairman of the Honorary Board of our Association, to carry local sensitivity to a universal line, will host cultural events starting from July. Within the scope of the activities, film screenings will be held in the amphitheater, the Lovers’ Feast will be performed with the participation of important folk poets such as Cemal Divani, Ensar Şahpazoğlu, İhsan Yavuzer, Kul Nuri and Rahim Sağlam, shadow play and clown shows for children will be staged, and the Ender Balkır concert will be held. Azerbaijan Night will be organized with the participation of Ganira Paşeyeva and state artists, poets and folk dance teams from Azerbaijan. Also, within the scope of the International Dede Korkut Culture and Art Festival performed by the Municipality of Bayburt, the Turkish World Night will be held with the contribution of our association.
