Fountain

Story

“I wouldn’t be the stream
I went and found it halfway
Lover bathed in the fountain
I didn’t make the handkerchief

Where the fountain flows
Where the coffee is cooked
Beautiful ugly is not wanted
Where the heart falls

Our fountains, which find expression in these beautiful Bayburt manias, are the meeting points of social life. Young girls dress up in their most beautiful clothes on their way to the fountain, trying to make their friends jealous on the one hand, and on the other – to attract the attention of the village ladies; they group up and sing mutual manias.

Our fountain is a place where our visitors can drink cold water and breathe and chat while visiting our museum.
