Kem Eğirme Festival

Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum hosts a different event every week. In the museum, which started the new season with the “Scythe Mowing Festival” held on June 21, the “Kem Spinning” event was held on June 28. Within the scope of the event, the herbs cut by the visitors were combined and transformed into a rope called “kem”, which is frequently used in the villages in the region.
