Some also made distorted and soulless concrete<br \/>\nbuildings of the city in their villages to stay during their summer holidays.<br \/>\nThose who stayed in the village as they could not go to the city, took example of the new concrete<br \/>\nhouses they\u2019ve seen and destroyed the traditional village houses and buried them in concrete as<br \/>\nwell.<br \/>\nThe founder of the museum, Kenan Yavuz in his letter goes:<br \/>\nThere is no village left, no fountain<br \/>\nNeither the mansion nor the house remained<br \/>\nWe destroyed the henna stone and carried concrete from the cities to our villages<br \/>\nStone and earth meant poverty, and concrete meant wealth!<br \/>\nThe apocalypse of our villages has happened.<br \/>\nGrandpa and Grandma<br \/>\nWith \u015eAmil and M\u00fcnevver<br \/>\nMom and Dad<br \/>\nAlime and Mecit<br \/>\nMy eight aunts<br \/>\nMy sisters and brothers<br \/>\nI was born and raised in this house<br \/>\nThe voice of my aunts who love me \u201cmy sweetie\u201d in my ears<br \/>\nThank God for bringing you to this world, my grandmother says in my dreams<br \/>\nAt the beginning of the tandoor, I remember my mother&#8217;s warm lap, which I pretended to have<br \/>\nfallen asleep so that I would be carried to my bed. The voice of my grandfather, who said \u201ccome on<br \/>\nget up it is nearly noon\u201d before the sun actually has even risen, lives in my longing for the loving<br \/>\nlooks mixed with anger of my beautiful father, who has prepared an ox cart to go to the field<br \/>\noutside and is waiting for me<br \/>\nI wanted our house to be moved to the centuries to come.<br \/>\nLet it be an example and let there be one village house in the future world<br \/>\nWho knows, maybe our grandchildren will wash these ugly and soulless piles of concrete<br \/>\nAnd they will rebuild our villages.<br \/>\nThis house is an exact replica of the house in which the museum founder Kenan Yavuz was born<br \/>\nand raised in.
